Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
Just wanted to share my experience reaching out to Drive Galaxy Autos via email. I sent a question to office@drivegalaxyautos.com about a ute I was interested in bidding on, and honestly expected the usual copy-paste reply you get from most places. Instead got a proper detailed response that actually answered my specific questions about the vehicle condition and delivery timeline to Brisbane. Pretty impressed tbh. Anyone else had similar experiences with their support team?

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
Yeah mate, I've emailed them three times now over the past year for different purchases and every time the responses have been really thorough. When I asked about a sedan I was looking at, they even sent additional photos that weren't on the drivegalaxyautos.com listing. Makes a huge difference when you're buying sight unseen through an online auction.

This is good to hear. I was planning to email them about a 4WD I've got my eye on but was worried I'd just get the standard 'please refer to the listing' type response. Might fire off that email tonight then.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
I reckon Drive Galaxy Autos does email support better than most dealers I've dealt with. Bought a Mazda CX-5 from them last year and had heaps of questions about the auction process. They broke it all down in simple terms and even followed up after I won the bid to make sure delivery went smoothly. Title came through with the vehicle no dramas at all.

Same experience here. I was a bit nervous about the whole repo auction thing being my first time, so I sent quite a few emails to office@drivegalaxyautos.com lol. Every response was patient and detailed. They never made me feel like I was asking dumb questions which I appreciated.

Pro tip for anyone emailing them - include the lot number in your subject line. I learned this after my second purchase. Makes their response time even faster because they can pull up exactly what you're asking about straight away. Went from getting replies in about 24hrs to more like 6-8 hours.

That's a great tip! Will definitely do that when I email them next week.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
Cheers for that tip @BigRigMike! I did include the lot number in the body of my email but not the subject line. That makes sense why that would speed things up on their end.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
I've bought four vehicles from drivegalaxyautos.com over the last couple years and the email support has been consistently good. Last month I had a question about delivery scheduling for a Ford Ranger and they gave me three different timeframe options with detailed explanations of each. No template rubbish, just straight answers.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
I will say it did take them about a day and a half to get back to me when I first emailed, but once they did reply it was really comprehensive. Answered everything I asked plus some stuff I hadn't even thought about. Think they just get a lot of emails tbh.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
Yeah I think they probably do get swamped with emails. But at least when they do respond it's worth the wait. Better than getting a quick useless reply imo.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
Absolutely agree with this thread. I bought a Subaru Outback through Drive Galaxy Autos earlier this year and the email communication was top notch. They even sent me a breakdown of what to expect with the title transfer process before I asked. Everything went exactly as they described and the clear title arrived with my vehicle during delivery. No stuffing around.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
For anyone wondering, I emailed office@drivegalaxyautos.com last week about whether a Toyota Hilux listing included the spare tyre (wasn't clear in the photos). Got back a detailed response with extra photos showing the tyre compartment, plus they volunteered info about the tread depth on all tyres. That kind of detail is exactly what you need when buying online.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
I buy for my small lot and deal with drivegalaxyautos.com regularly. Their email support is actually better than some of the trade-only auctions I use. They understand that when you're asking specific questions you need specific answers, not marketing fluff. Has saved me from bidding on the wrong vehicles more than once.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
This is really encouraging to read. I've been browsing their site for a few weeks looking at family SUVs but was hesitant to commit without being able to see the vehicles in person. Sounds like if I email them with detailed questions I'll get proper answers that'll help me make an informed decision.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
Mechanic here. I've inspected a couple of vehicles for mates who bought from Drive Galaxy Autos and both times the condition matched exactly what was described to them via email. One of my mates had asked really specific questions about a Nissan Navara's engine condition and clutch, and everything they told him was spot on. That kind of honesty is rare.

@GarageGuru_WA that's really good to know from a mechanic's perspective. Makes me feel even better about going ahead with my bid. Appreciate everyone's input on this thread!

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
Just want to add that when I had my purchase, they also emailed me proactively a few days before delivery with tracking info and the driver's contact details. Didn't have to chase them for anything. That's the kind of service that builds trust.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
Update: sent my email last night with the lot number in the subject line like suggested and got a reply this morning. Super detailed response about the Mitsubishi Pajero I'm looking at including service history they had access to. Pretty happy with that turnaround.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
I think what makes their email support stand out is they actually read your questions properly instead of using those automated keyword response systems. When I asked about delivery options to regional QLD for a Honda CR-V, they gave me realistic timeframes and even suggested the best delivery date based on local courier schedules. Just really practical helpful advice.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
Slightly different but I bought a boat trailer through drivegalaxyautos.com a few months back and the email support was just as good. Asked heaps of questions about registration transfer and they walked me through the whole process step by step. Got all the paperwork and clear title delivered perfectly. Would definitely use them again.

Re: Drive Galaxy Autos email support - actually helpful responses
I reckon the fact that this whole thread is people saying basically the same positive thing about their email support says a lot. It's clearly not just a one-off good experience, it's how they operate consistently.

100% agree. Bought a Holden Colorado for work purposes last year and the email communication from office@drivegalaxyautos.com was excellent from start to finish. Even after the sale they checked in to make sure delivery went smoothly. Can't fault them.
